Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud insists the squad are behind Arsene Wenger and want to see him sign a contract extension.
Wenger, 66, is out of contract at the end of the season and he’s under huge pressure to step down after six defeats in the last nine matches.
The Frenchman insisted after Saturday’s defeat against West Brom that he had decided what to do about his future but there’s been no announcement over his plans.
Giroud, though, says the whole squad is behind Wenger and they would like to see him sign a new deal at the Emirates.
‘We want to see Arsène Wenger sign an extension,’ Giroud told Canal+.
‘To continue the adventure, because we support him.’
