Arsenal have made an offer to Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel to replace Arsene Wenger at the club next season, according to reports in Germany.
Bild claim that the Gunners have been in contact with the German about taking over from Wenger, who will stand down after 21 years at the club.
Wenger is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to put pen to paper on a two-year deal that is on the table.
The 66-year-old’s come under increasing pressure in recent weeks with Arsenal losing six of their last nine matches in all competitions.
Tuchel, 43, took over from Jurgen Klopp at Dortmund and his side finished second behind Bayern Munich during his first season with the club.
The Germans are into the last-8 of the Champions League where they will face Monaco and his side have been widely praised for the attacking brand of football they’ve adopted under Tuchel.
Tuchel has a 62% win percentage during his time at Dortmund.
