Arsenal are reportedly ready to allow Alexis Sanchez a transfer away from the club if the likes of Juventus and Inter Milan offer £43million this summer.
The Chile international is yet to sign a new contract with the Gunners and would be free to leave the Emirates Stadium on a Bosman at the end of next season as it stands.
A host of top clubs are known to be after Sanchez ahead of this summer, with the former Barcelona forward enjoying a fine run of form this season amid his contract row.
Juve and Inter are among his main admirers as he could possibly be lured back to Italy, where he enjoyed a fine start to his career in Europe with fellow Serie A side Udinese.
According to Corriere dello Sport, it could take a record sale fee for Arsenal to let their star player leave, with somewhere in the region of £43million thought to be their asking price at the moment.
That looks a decent deal for a player in the final year of his contract, but Arsenal fans will be cursing their club’s inability to hold on to their best players once again.
